What has Apple (APPL) stock been doing?

Apple stock has been trading sideways for about 8 months now, most recently in a steady decline since the beginning of 2024.

Since early March 2024 a double bottom pattern started to form. Zooming in we can see the first low occurred in mid-march and the second low could be forming currently as of mid-April. Without further confirmation it is entirely possible that Apple stock continues its steady decline.

Should I buy Apple (APPL) Stock?

As of today it is unclear as to whether Apple stock will continue its downward decline or follow the double bottom trend reversal pattern. More recently the trading volume has also been relatively flat, so the price and volume movements next week will be a good indicator if it is time to jump onto a momentum trade on Apple stock. It is time for patience – no rushed or forced trades. In this type of situation, it is best to set an alert (consider the $174 price level) and assess the situation then.
